General Nursing & Midwifery

This 3-year diploma program prepares students to become skilled nursing professionals capable of delivering patient care in hospitals and community settings. The course includes theoretical instruction in nursing, midwifery, anatomy, physiology, and practical training in real clinical environments.

Eligibility:
10+2 (any stream) with a minimum of 40% marks; preference for Science background (Biology). Age: 17–35 years.

Scope:
GNM graduates can work as registered nurses in hospitals, clinics, community health centers, and maternity homes. They are eligible for higher studies such as B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) and have wide opportunities in both public and private healthcare sectors.
